In 1983, my career as a remodeler started in the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon. At 18 years old I had a lot to learn, but cutting my teeth doing all phases of remodeling on historic Portland buildings accelerated my learning and skill level.

As the years passed, the projects kept coming, a natural progression took place, and my emphasis became high-end, detailed remodeling on homes in the Lake Oswego area. Woodworking, finish-work, and management of the complete job became my forte. Having this extensive background led to a Project Management role for a large, high-end home builder. In turn, I contributed to Street of Dreams homes and other notable large scale projects. In 2005 I started working as a Project Manager for a fire restoration company and realized my future was there. Restoration became my specialty and passion. Since then I have successfully completed hundreds of fire, water, wind, and smoke restoration projects on every kind of structure imaginable.

I started Fire Restoration knowing that my remodeling experience and my firefighting background was a perfect and unique marriage for this industry. My understanding of fire behavior and C/O structures give me a distinct advantage in the way I help our business approach restoration projects. I have designed Fire Restoration with some core principles that will ensure our success and build a reputation of quality, integrity, and satisfied customers.
